I cant believe my eyes when I read that. How on earth could that be possible. Am I the only football follower who sees it as some stupid joke? I guess not.

Samuel Eto' is a Cameroon international playing for FC Barcelona in Spain. he's been in the Club since 2004 and has been their prolific goal getter during that time. He has a proven track record of Goalscoring in both the Champions league and the domestic spanish league. Season after season he guaranteed the spanish giants 30 odd goals. He scored in both thier European Champions league wins. Experts estimated his market value to be at least double that of Ibrahimovic. Now read this! FC Barcelona paid Inter Milan €40 Million Plus Samuel Eto' for Zlatan Ibrahimovic who one football expert said "he is the most overrated player". In any case this is gonna give football pundits all over the world a lot to talk about especially if Ibrahimovic does not live up to his billings. One thing for sure, Jose Mourinho, Inter Milan's manager will be having a lot of laugh about this deal.

Michael Jackson, a blackman's hero?

Since the death Michael Jackson, "the king of pop", I have come to the realisation that the best and most important of loves is self-love. The amount of love and passion shown by Michael's fans is overwhelming. I dont think any celebrity can generate that kind of passion in his followers. In fact any pop star in this world, dead or alive, will be envious. Yet all this amount to nothing since MJ never loved himself.
Specialist desribed Michael's obsession to change his appearance, and subsequently the colour of his skin, as a medical condition whereby one looks into the mirror and hates what he sees (his image). It makes me laugh when I see the so called activist like Al Sharpton touting the man as a black hero. There is no doubt about MJ's musical and dancing genius, but a black people's hero he was not, so cut it Al Sharpton. Michael Jackson hated anything about himself simply because he was born a blackman. Many of you out there will be quick to come out with excuses like, the pressure and lack of opprtunity for black artist when he was growing up, his determination to break into the white american market. Nice, but can anyone explain the looks of his (so-called) kids? This is someone who hates what he was so much so that he wasn't ready to pass his own genetics to his offsprings. Guess what, because they will look like what he hated in him. He wasn't even ready to settle for mixed race, NO. He wanted his kids to look like what he had aspired to be all his life, a whiteman. So he went for a blue eyes, blond whiteman's semen and whitewoman's egg to create his ideal kids. And the funny thing about all these was , he was so convinced that he was a whiteman and that the world would believe the kids were his blood.
Well MJ you have had an amazing career and life but you have also taught us a life lesson. We should never try to change what we are. And most importantly we should always love ourselves, no matter how we look and what others perceived of us.
None the less RIP MJ, you will be missed for what you were a musical genius despite all your mistakes.

Israel and Palestine the struggle for existence

A lot of people out there, who are less informed , have been led by the mainstream news media into believing that the problem in Gaza is the firing of rockets by Hamas militants. The other time I came across the sort of comments that CNN and Co. happily broadcast, a viewer observed irritatingly "Hamas should stop firing rockets and the problem will end......" It sounds as if the Palestinians have been living a happy and DIGNIFIED life and then all of a sudden Hamas militants started firing rockets and all hell broke lose. It also portray the Hamas as a group of violent extremist who have nothing else to do but to look for trouble. Unfortunately that was not the case. The problem is and has always been Israel's determination to annihilate the whole Palestinian territories as defined in the very UN resolution that created Israel, wrongly in the first place, by any means necessary. In my opinion, the Hamas militants have two choices either they stop fighting unconditionally and continue living in ghettos under USA-sponsored Israeli occupation and oppression worst than the Apatheid era in South Africa, and eventually die slowly or end up in the Israeli jails without any form of arbitration. On the other hand, they can continue fighting and die fighting for a just course. In the history of human struggle for a dignified life, its been proven time after time that people prefer death with dignity to living under constant humiliation. History will Judge.
